Service center was busy. I had a 3 pm appointment and was promptly seen. When I made the appointment I asked for a oil change, tire rotation, and cabin air filter replacement (OnStar suggested checking to see if it was needed). I repeated that order at check in time. We discussed the cabin filter and it was determined it would be replaced if needed. In addition I asked if my tires could be checked to see if they needed replaced. At payment time I was billed for the oil change and tire rotation. No mention of the cabin filter or tires. I again asked if the tires could be looked at. It was busy with folks checking out but it was agreed that they needed to be replaced soon. I was told I would be sent an email comparing three different tires for consideration. Early the next morning I received that email. I responded back immediately saying to order a certain set, asking the time frame for ordering and installing the new tires and asked about the cabin filter. Around 2 p.m. after not hearing back quickly I called and left a voice message with both questions. It was 6:30 and three voicemail transactions later that I was told the tires would be ordered. No answer or reference to the cabin filter. That was a lot of communication for two simple questions. Now I ask did I need a cabin filter replacement and is it something I need to monitor. In my opinion calling the Riley number, getting a general operator and then being transferred to the service department and then to get voice mail and then volley back and forth with messages is not effective use of my time or your service people. Great place, great service and I have confidence in the dealership or I wouldn't drive in from the Lake of the Ozarks but please work on a more efficient system.
